Does EasyFound work in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese?
EasyFound · · 6 min read
Yes. EasyFound checks what AI tools say about a business when customers type their questions in English, Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese, and reports each language separately. We do it because, in our Malaysian tests, about seven in ten businesses ChatGPT named for Malay or Chinese questions were missing from the English answers. This is our own service describing itself, so the limits are listed too.
Yes. EasyFound checks what AI tools answer when your customers type their questions in English, Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese, and keeps each language's results separate. It checks six AI tools: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode.
This is EasyFound describing its own service, so read it as our claim, not a review. What we say about our service below matches our website as of 11 October 2026, and the test data is public so you can check it.
Which languages does EasyFound check AI answers in?
EasyFound supports three languages: it checks AI answers in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese. Bahasa Malaysia means questions typed in Malay, which our site also calls Bahasa Melayu or BM. The same customer question is typed in each language, and each language gets its own result. Our method page puts it this way: "The same question in a different language often produces a different answer, and that difference is part of what we report."
| Language | What EasyFound checks | What our Malaysian tests found |
|---|---|---|
| English | Customer questions typed in English | Every web search ChatGPT ran for the English questions was in English |
| Bahasa Malaysia | The same questions typed in Malay, reported separately | ChatGPT ran 109 of 126 searches in English, then answered in Malay |
| Chinese | The same questions typed in Chinese characters, reported separately | ChatGPT ran 132 of 138 searches in English, then answered in Chinese |
Search counts are from EasyFound's language test of ChatGPT, 24 September 2026. They cover ChatGPT only.
For paid work, the tools, languages, questions and schedule are agreed before the work starts. So a business whose customers ask only in English and Malay doesn't have to take all three.
What does "Chinese" mean when EasyFound checks AI answers?
"Chinese" at EasyFound means customer questions typed in Chinese characters. Most of our service pages say "Mandarin" and our tool page says "Chinese". Both mean the same thing here: written questions, such as "我在吉隆坡开一家小咖啡馆,应该用哪个POS系统?"
In our published tests so far, the Chinese questions were typed in simplified characters. Our service pages say nothing about spoken questions, or about Cantonese, Hokkien and other dialects, so don't count those as covered.
Why does EasyFound check Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese separately from English?
EasyFound checks Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese separately because an English check can miss who gets named in the other two. Our Malaysian tests of ChatGPT point both ways, which is why we look instead of assuming:
- Different names. Of the businesses ChatGPT named for a Malay or Chinese question, 151 of 217 never appeared in the three English answers to the same question. Part of that is ordinary run-to-run change, as the measurement article explains.
- A Chinese-only shortlist. A seller asked in Chinese about sea freight from 1688 to KL. ChatGPT named three consolidators that no English or Malay answer named, in our freight forwarder test.
- Sometimes no change. Café owners asked which POS system to use, in English, Malay and Chinese. The Malay and Chinese questions drew the same three brands as the English ones, and one Malay answer added a fourth, in our café POS test.
Our reading: you can't tell from the English answer which of these your trade will be. The searching behind those answers is mostly in English, covered in whether you need Malay or Chinese content.
Does EasyFound's self-serve tool support Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese?
EasyFound's self-serve tool isn't open yet, so today the language checks come from our done-for-you service. The tool has an early-access waitlist. Its page says each question is asked in its own language: English, Bahasa Melayu or Chinese, with Indonesian, Thai and Vietnamese also supported. It also says results stay separate per language.
That is all we'll say about the tool until it opens. If you are comparing GEO or AI visibility tools that track answers in Malay and Mandarin, we are one of the options, so test us like any other. Ask to see one of your own customer questions in Malay, with the answer, the businesses named and the date.
What doesn't EasyFound do in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese?
EasyFound's Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese checks have three limits worth knowing before you ask us:
- Our website is mostly in English. There is a service page in Malay and no Chinese page. "Working in" a language means the questions we ask, not a translated site.
- Our published language evidence is ChatGPT only. The figures above come from OpenAI's API, not the ChatGPT app. We check six tools, and the three Google ones through a data provider, so answers can differ a little from your own browser.
- The free check is a first look. It shows what ChatGPT says about your business. Ongoing checks across all six tools are part of paid work, not the free check.
How do I check my business in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese with EasyFound?
Checking your business in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese starts with one question your customers really ask, typed the way they type it.
- Request EasyFound's free check. See what ChatGPT says about your business, then go through it with us on a free call. Tell us which languages your customers use.
- Try it yourself first. Ask ChatGPT your customers' top question in English, Malay and Chinese, logged out, a few times each. Note who is named each time.
- Keep the languages apart. Count how often you're named in each language on its own. A blended number hides the language you're missing in.
- Fix the pages AI reads. Our guides cover getting recommended when customers ask in Malay and in Chinese.

What is the best GEO tool that supports Malay and Mandarin?
There is no neutral ranking we can point to, and EasyFound is one of the options, so weigh our view accordingly. Our advice is to test any GEO or AI visibility tool the same way: ask it to show one of your customer questions in Malay and in Chinese, with the answers, the businesses named and the date, kept separate from English. EasyFound's service checks typed questions in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese. Its self-serve tool is not open yet and has an early-access waitlist.
Is EasyFound's website or dashboard available in Malay or Chinese?
Mostly not. As of 11 October 2026, EasyFound's website is mostly in English, with a service page in Malay and no Chinese page. 'Working in' a language means the questions EasyFound asks the AI tools are typed in that language, not that every page is translated. The service has no dashboard to learn: the team does the checks and explains the results in plain language.

About EasyFound: the statements about our service match our own public pages, read 11 October 2026: the home page, the method page, the Malay service page and the tool waitlist page. We wrote them, so they are claims by the seller, not an outside review.
Our data: no new tests were run for this article. Every figure is reused from a published EasyFound test of ChatGPT through OpenAI's Responses API with web search and approximate location Malaysia, not the ChatGPT app.
- EasyFound, Language test of ChatGPT, 24 September 2026: 45 short keyword-style questions in five trades, in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese, three runs each, model gpt-5.4-mini (CSV; article)
- EasyFound, Mention measurement, same 135 answers, counting the businesses named per question and language (CSV; article)
- EasyFound, Freight forwarder test, 6 October 2026: 9 buyer questions asked twice, two of them in Chinese, model chat-latest (CSV)
- EasyFound, Café POS test, 9 October 2026: 10 café-owner questions asked twice, one in Malay and one in Chinese, model chat-latest (CSV)
The freight finding rests on one Chinese question, and the café finding on one Malay and one Chinese question, so treat them as examples, not rates.
ChatGPT changes often; treat these figures as a dated measurement.
